Large pothole outside 19 Elmwood Road

Reported via iOS in the Pothole or other defect category anonymously at 13:06, Saturday 10 January 2026

Sent to Hounslow Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8661758.

Dilapidated road surface breaking up outside 19 Elmwood Road from poorly repaired patch. This is now extending in size and is dangerous to cyclists as it is directly in the path of tyre tracks and will cause an accident with a front wheel getting stuck and throwing the rider off causing potentially serious injury. The entire length of Elmwood Road is in very poor condition and Andy Slaughter MP has advised Hounslow Highways that it needs to be repaired permanently with proper resurfacing rather than be allowed to get progressively worse. This is a high traffic road since Harvard Hill Road was blocked to traffic exiting on the A4. There are frequent delivery trucks and heavy vehicles resupplying Busges supermarket on Fauconberg Road. Accidents will happen and cyclists will be injured unless something is done.
