Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to report a large pothole located just outside my driveway it started as small but for past 4 weeks getting larger. This pothole poses a significant safety hazard and requires urgent attention. When vehicles pass over it particularly during rainy weather it fills with water and causes severe splashing onto the pavement. Pedestrians are regularly soaked by passing cars, which is both unpleasant and unsafe, especially given the uneven and damaged road surface around the pothole. The area is frequently used by elderly residents who go for morning walks. There is no zebra crossing nearby, so people often have to cross the main road at this point. The presence of this pothole increases the risk to pedestrians, as drivers may swerve suddenly to avoid it or lose control when driving through standing water. Given the combination of poor road conditions, and vulnerable pedestrians, this pothole represents a serious hazard and I am concerned that an accident or injury may occur if it is not repaired promptly. I would appreciate it if this issue could be inspected and addressed as a matter of urgency. Kind regards
