Tree by at junction of Worple Avenue and Northcote Avenue

Location is corner of Northcote Avenue and Worple Avenue, the tree with a whole in it's base.
Fungi has been present for about 3-4 weeks.
Fungi could be either Turkey Tail (Trametes versicolor) or Giant Polypore (Meripilus giganteus).
Both fungi feed on the decaying or rotting wood. As it is at the base of the tree, it could indicate dying roots which could indicate a dangerous tree.
