Sent to Hounslow Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8062599.
Footpath unsafe due to excessive weed growth which council has failed to address despite of reminders via this app. All local streets have extensive weed growth making it difficult to walk especially for the elderly and those in wheelchairs. Please prioritise this request before a serious accident occurs.

Problem of overgrown weeds exists along Cranmore Avenue. Strong weed killer needs to be applied with follow up to clear out the weeks. This is better long term solution as council does not have resources to address this issue every couple of months as weeds return. Alternatively, for permanent solution just tarmac the footpath in Cranmore Avenue as council has done on Jersey Road. This issue requires decisive action, not drip feed inadequate measures.
