Tree just outside 27 Flanders Road

The tree outside 27 Flanders Rd has not been pruned for any time within the 20 yrs we have lived at this address - it is now badly overgrown. It is overhanging the front of 27 Flanders Rd to an unacceptable degree, with the branches now very close to the front brickwork of the property, reducing the light to the property unacceptably and risking other damage. It dwarfs the beautiful cherry tree on our property which is starting to show signs of stress - a large limb is now dead due to lack of light. It also overhangs too far into the road and reduces the level of light on the pavement unacceptably. It badly needs to be pollarded or, at a minimum, trimmed back heavily.
