London Road and St John’s Road. Potholes.

Reported via iOS in the Pothole or other defect category anonymously at 18:44, Thursday 29 May 2025

Sent to Hounslow Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7634877.

What the situation seems to be worsening. This was patched up not long ago but with all the heavy vehicles especially the buses turning into St John’s Road it’s torn up the surface again.

Updates

  • The situation has got worse. The holes are multiplying and at least 2-3” deep in some places. Resurfacing on London Road from St. John’s Road intersection to Isleworth railway bridge took place this week. I asked about the intersection. They said it was on the “to-do” list but didn’t say when.

My concern is that there is no pedestrian crossing lights and some drivers take the corner fast, even the bus drivers. One day someone is going to trip up and fall, at just the wring moment and get hit by a vehicle. Either a kid or a senior citizen.
