Sent to Hounslow Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7627828.
There’s a lot of heavy vehicle traffic turning into St John’s Road from London Road, especially the H 37 and the 117 bus services. Repair was done a couple of years ago and it looks like the road surface is breaking up again. Thought somebody might like to know before it gets any worse.

The surface is breaking up at the crossing at the T junction. It’s mainly because of the heavy vehicles, especially each 37 and 117 buses at turn sharply very fast into St John’s Road off London Road.
You’ve now got a patchwork of holes ranging from one to several inches deep. It’s only going to take somebody stumbling or tripping to fall down and get run over.
Why wait until there’s an accident before you prevent an accident by resurfacing the pedestrian crossing with a more robust aggregate.
As the saying goes, prevent prevention is better than cure, especially with injury and death and/or concerned. I’m thinking of senior citizens and young children be more susceptible to tripping and falling because of the state of the road surface that are no green/red man traffic lights which makes it very risky.
I don’t suppose Hounslow highways would like to have a lawsuit because a pedestrian was injured and or killed
