Street light is too bright/high up/pointing into our house

Reported via desktop in the Lights too bright/ dull category anonymously at 14:22, Wed 14 May 2025

Sent to Hounslow Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7569021.

Street light is too bright and facing into our property windows. Forcing us to close all curtains at front of the house before it is even dark. We are unable to sit in our living room with the curtains open due to glare. In the summer when we need to leave the bedroom window open and when the curtains move in breeze the very bright light keeps us and our baby awake. The top floor bedroom is unusable in summer as leaving the roof window open means the light shines into the bedroom, there is no way to put a curtain over the open roof window. The light needs to be dimmed or repositioned please.
