6cm bumps in tarmac caused by roots of street horse chestnut tree

This bump has been getting progressively worse for the last couple of years. If I don't clear the leaves myself daily in the autumn, it is a serious hazard and not only for the elderly - especially as the throughway is narrow at that point in the pavement anyway. It is outside the gate of no. 7.
