I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to request the removal of the large tree situated directly outside my property.

While I appreciate the value of urban greenery, this particular tree has been causing a number of persistent and costly issues: 1. Obstruction and Vehicle Damage: The tree roots have grown over the kerb and pavement, and the trunk now leans in such a way that it obstructs access to my driveway. Each time I park, my car door hits the tree, which has already caused damage to my vehicle. 2. Excessive Debris: The tree sheds a significant amount of debris, especially in spring and summer, which collects across the pavement, road, and my driveway. This necessitates frequent cleaning at my own expense to maintain safety and appearance. 3. Limited Use of Driveway: Due to the mess and constant fallout from the tree, I’m often unable to use my own driveway—particularly during the warmer months when the volume of sap and organic debris significantly increases, making it impractical to park under the tree.

I have attached images for reference that show the extent of the obstruction and the debris accumulation.

I would greatly appreciate it if the council could assess this tree and consider its removal.
