Recent Footpath change on Vicarage Farm Road

Am writing to raise a serious concern about the recent changes made to the footpaths at the beginning of Crossways Road. The footpaths on both sides have been significantly widened, and this has created more chaos rather than improving the area.

Due to the widening, it has become extremely dangerous for vehicles — especially cars and buses — to turn into Crossways Road. Drivers are now forced to swerve onto oncoming traffic to make the turn safely, which poses a major risk of accidents.

The situation is made worse by the fact that vehicles are often parked along Vicarage Farm Road near the turning, leaving even less room to maneuver in or out of Crossways Road safely.

This new layout is highly frustrating and unsafe. I urge you to urgently review this change and take immediate action to make this turning safer for all road users before a serious accident occurs.
