Hi Sir/ Madam,

Cars Park on a public walking pavement which is blocking the access for local resident’s to walk on the pavement, this is NOT a car parking space. The location for the cars parked on the local pavement:

1. Address: 194 Uxbridge Rd, Feltham TW13 5DZ and at the start of Boundaries Road, Feltham.

Local residents and business owners park on the walking pavement which blocks the road and causes issues for all residents to walk on the pavement.

As a disabled person to have difficulty to access or walk on a walking pavement, this enables me to walk on a busy car road which is dangerous for a person like myself as a disability individual. This is not a car parking spot which I do not know why people park on a local walking public pavement and blocks the road.

I know kids going to the local primary and secondary school walk on the road which is dangerous and could cause accident for local people.

Thank you.

Updates

  • Reported sixth times for dumping of mess but first time for parking matter, have forwarded to TFL and Hounslow Highway via email and they are looking into this matter. The case is ongoing.

There are different cars park on top of the public walkway. It is difficult for me and a local disabled man who uses this footpath in this Mobility Scooter for ease of access if the road is blocked with cars.

The Mobility Scooter individual drives it on the car road, it is difficult for locals to see this as this may cause an accident awaiting to happen.

Families with push chairs in the morning and afternoon going to drop their children to school/ picking up thier kids from school use the car road and cars driving around them due to the locals using the public walkway as a car park, they park thier car for 7-8 hours on average. This is not a car parking spot and they do not understand the ramification of an accident might occur due to blocking the access for locals to walk.

Thank you for looking into this matter.

    Thank you.

    Still open, via questionnaire

  • This is still a ongoing issue with the same cars and vans parking on a walkway, in which residents need to use blocking access is not the correct manner as residents have to walk around and a wheelchair user use the public road with moving cars. A letter to the cars owners to understand this is not a car parking space but a walkway please park in the correct manner.
