The end of Bridge Street where the footbridge starts

Reported via desktop in the Trees or shrubs causing obstruction of highway category anonymously at 17:19, Monday 30 September 2024

Sent to Hounslow Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6531660.

The thorny shrubbery is heavily overgrown over the passageway to the footbridge and should be cut right back to the fencing or behind it. This has been the case for months, and it's been increasing in size for years, it gets trimmed but in no way enough to allow the safe passage of people. The bush is now blocking the top half of the pavement so that anyone taller than a metre needs to dodge it and only allows single file passage. This is a high traffic area with people passing to school. It also provides cover for people loitering which is a problem in that area at night.
