Tree roots causing broken tarmac and flooding

Reported via mobile in the Uneven footway category anonymously at 15:37, Sunday 29 September 2024

Sent to Hounslow Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6529829.

The tree roots are growing and causing the surround tarmac to crack and in doing so, creating a trip hazard. We have witnessed 2 people now trip and have an accident on the said tarmac. It’s also causing flooding on the pavement which obstructs people from getting by whenever it rains meaning people have to step out into the road. Moreover, this flooding has damaged our property by blowing the render on our front wall and meaning we can’t step out from our front path onto the pavement when it’s raining and flooded.
