At fork in the road at Deerhurst close - near garages 49 and 48

This hedgerow and tree is severely overgrown causing us to walk into the road. I made a previous complaint as have my neighbours at no 50 and 46. Previous reference 1220439 23 July. Yesterday a letter was posted through the door by Highways Inspector (reference 14429730) telling me it was overhanging vegetation and an obstruction and that it was my responsibility! That is definitely not the case this hedgerow and tree is beyond my boundary and has always been maintained by the council. I have lived in the house for 23 years. In fact it was one of the council gardeners/contractor who suggested that we complained to the council to find out why it has not been cut for so long, when he has been cutting it for years. Please can this be dealt with asap. I am not happy that this not suggests that I have 7 days to cut this back and had we all not complained about it you would be none the wiser.
