Outside on pavement between 28 and 30 Grove Park Gardens

Reported via desktop in the Uneven footway category anonymously at 10:57, Tue 11 June 2024

Sent to Hounslow Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6092194.

Tree was removed last year and site tarmacced over. However old tree roots are regrowing causing bumps in pavement and new growth coming through. Becoming a trip hazard. Also same thing is happening at other points on the same road

  • Still no action and still remaining a hazard for pedestrians and particularly children in push chairs where these spiky branches are at eye level. Cutting back is not a solution - it needs treatment to prevent regrowth. LBH were here recently working on an adjacent tree but said they were not scheduled to deal with this so did nothing. When Hounslow??.
