Saxon Avenue - TW13 5JN

Reported via mobile in the Complaint category anonymously at 18:59, Mon 26 February 2024

Sent to Hounslow Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5635355.

The amount of traffic has exponentially increased in this area due to closure and works at the Junction of 233 Hounslow Rd, Feltham TW13 6AE. Royal mail trucks, Other large trucks and cars, motor bikes, H25 bus and other buses 'not in service' all other road users are using Saxon avenue road as a bypass road (to avoid the works on junction). The increased traffic is leading to grid lock situation, increased honking and vehicles being mounted on the pavement to make way. Today a motor bike (Delivery motor bike with L plate) around 17:18pm was riding the bike on the pavement at full speed. I am increasingly concerned over road safety of pedestrians and children specially at school hours (Crane Park Primary School). Risk to cars parked in this residential road are has increased substantially as all vehicles are moving at increased proximity of parked cars.
