Urgent Complaint Regarding Traffic Flow and Vehicle Damage Due to Roadwork Hi, I trust this message finds you well. I would like to draw your attention to the ongoing roadwork along High Street, where workers and contractors frequently relocate alongside the road upon completing one section to improve the cycling lane. Residing in Pump House Crescent (TW8 0FX), I have encountered a significant issue with traffic flow due to the temporary changes. During the incident, the two-way traffic light controlling the flow on High Street and Kew Bridge Road (not the traffic from Pump House Crescent to High Street and Kew Bridge Road) allows only a brief time for drivers to proceed, causing stress and a rush to avoid the red light. Additionally, the contractors have significantly narrowed the road without considering turning space for traffic joining from Pump House Crescent, leading to damage to my car's front wheel. This occurred as I struggled to navigate the confined space, avoiding roadwork barriers, temporary traffic lights, and the short green light duration. I kindly request you to treat this complaint seriously and provide guidance on who is responsible for repairing my brand new car. I firmly believe that the responsibility lies with the Hounslow Council. Your prompt assistance in resolving this matter is highly appreciated.
