I would like to bring to your attention incomplete repair works at Seccombe Builders Merchants (TW7 5PW). In mid February 2023, a car ploughed into their wall due to dangerous driving. As a result, scaffolding was erected within days of the incident occurring alongside the placement of temporary traffic lights. It has now been four months since and there appears to be no progress made to rebuilding this wall. The traffic lights are causing significant delays during rush hour and it is causing some vehicles to disregard road safety due to impatience - I have seen four cars today drive against traffic in order to cut queue and it is only a matter of time before someone is injured due to reckless driving. I believe four months is more than enough time to carry out repairs to a single wall yet no progress has been made. It is wholly unreasonable at this stage, there have been reports of other developed nations repairing significant infrastructure damage within days whilst there has been no/minimal progress here! Please can this be escalated and actioned

Absolutely agree on this - wreckless drivers now driving on other side of the road trying to avoid the long queues. Something needs to be done about this now and not in months to come. Absolute joke....

The road outside the builder shop has been obstructed since early February due to an accident, and it's taking an eternity to resolve because of a dispute between the driver of the colliding vehicle and the builders shop. Now, here's the infuriating part: the builders shop could be held responsible for not completing the pending work, and the council should be accountable for ensuring public safety and not obstructing the road for an extended period. But both parties are displaying an appalling level of ridiculousness. The builders shop is filled with imbeciles, and the council is even more idiotic, completely disregarding the well-being of the public. They don't give a damn about public safety, causing traffic chaos and environmental damage by forcing cars to wait longer and burn excessive fuel.
The council should be heavily fined and compelled to reimburse all the people who regularly use the road for their failure and sheer incompetence in dealing with this situation. However, now the council has stooped to such a ridiculous level that they would shamelessly lie and claim that this matter is not their responsibility or within their jurisdiction. It's unbelievable that we're living in a supposedly modern society that allows such nonsensical systems to exist.

The council deserves not just heavy fines but should be compelled to reimburse all those who rely on this road regularly. Their failure and sheer incompetence in handling this situation are beyond belief. To make matters worse, the council has stooped to such a laughable level that they shamelessly deny any responsibility or jurisdiction in this matter. It's inconceivable that we must endure such a nonsensical system in what is supposed to be a modern society. To this ridiculous council, we are nothing more than meaningless numbers. This department's actions are nothing short of appalling, and the individuals employed therein are the epitome of incompetence and indifference. It is clear that nobody cares about the residents or their safety; we are simply inconveniences to them.
