Grass , weeds etc left all over the pavement

It is great that yesterday ( maybe the day before?) the council sent an employee to cut back all the many weeds and long grass which have long been blighting the length of Alexandra Road. Unfortunately the second part of the work, i.e. the picking up and disposal up of all the chopped back greenery has not been done and has simply been left all along the pavement and some of it has now blown into the gutter where it risks blocking the drains. Can someone be sent asap, please, to complete what needs doing? Thanks.

I have been out this morning and all the weeds etc are still on the pavement. The day this was initially reported in the afternoon I saw a road sweeping van sweeping the gutters, but the main problem is the PAVEMENT areas, 90% of the debris is there, and this hasn’t been addressed. To be honest, whoever was assigned / employed by the council to cut back all the weeds in the first place should have automatically cleared up after their work straight away as a gardener would have done. Council tax payers’ money should be paying for a more professional level of service.
