Bus stop closed but also bus stop adjacent closed too - you've taken 2 bus stops away for your roadworks

I understand that you need to take away 1 bus stop temporarily whilst you complete roadworks for months on end, but 2 bus stops???!!! You've made it impossible for all the residents over a very large block who usually use both bus stops (one on each side of the road) by removing their use. Couldn't you have one bus stop on one side of the road temporarily closed until you finish that side of the road, then close the other side of the road's bus stop whilst you do the roadworks there? The lack of consideration for residents using these stops is ridiculous, you could easily close down one bus stop at a time just whilst you're actually doing the works. My elderly neighbours are struggling & don't get out much now as they can't walk the added length to the next lot of bus stops, or have to walk double the length to get off a bus stop earlier as you've closed the bus stops for months. Also you NEVER TOLD THE RESIDENTS ABOUT THE BUS STOP CLOSURES in the paperwork provided to residents, explaining the roadworks. VERY ANGRY
