Pooling of rainwater on road at kerbdrop

Since hounslow highways resurfaced woodfield road (tw4 6ll), rain water regularly pools at the kerbdrop of the road area (see photo) outside my house at number 47. This never used to happen before the road resurfacing.

It is a safety hazard for anyone getting into and out of the car when parked there when water collects.

And a greater safety hazard in the winter when the collection of water freezes causing a very slippery icy surface. Will HH accept an injury claim if someone slips over and injures themselves?

I have reported this previously as well, but there has been no action by HH to resolve the problem.

  • It is now 6 months and the work to address the issue has still not been carried out on the street. Please expedite.

  • Can you please schedule the repair work as confirmed by Hounslow Highways on Fri 5 May 2023. It is now almost a year and the repair work has not been carried out. The issue remains unresolved as indicated in my original complaint made on 29 March 2023, and continues to be a hazard.
