Lighting on path alongside the railway line from Russell Kerr Close to A316 Chertsey Road

Reported via desktop in the Tree obstructing street light category anonymously at 10:30, Monday 23 January 2023

Sent to Hounslow Highways less than a minute later

It is all very well to have street lights along this path but there are several spots in complete darkness because trees (presumably in Chiswick New Cemetery) have not been looked after and cut back.

  • This was closed a couple of days ago, but I would argue that this was done too hastily. The photos show the trees in the New Cemetery encroaching over the path. There has been an attempt to cut them back, but only immediately by the lampposts. I would argue that they should be cut back the full length of the path in order to provide a properly lit path for pedestrians, joggers and cyclists.
