Defaced wall art and human waste

Reported via desktop in the Street Cleaning Enquiry category anonymously at 14:14, Wednesday 23 November 2022

Sent to Hounslow Highways less than a minute later

I have reported this issue repeatedly, most recently last week. Hounslow Council have commissioned a talented graffiti artist to decorate walls in the area, he created a lovely artwork on the Alleyway wall between Maswell Park Rd and the Railway Pedestrian bridge leading to Ivy Rd. This was defaced by somebody claiming the art had impacted the value of their home, it was subsequently defaced with paint and written notes (criminal damage to a council funded artwork!) this has been further damaged and defaced with what appears to be bags of human faeces which have been applied to the wall and dumped on the ground. This is a criminal matter and the Council need to take action, The graffiti art was outstanding and a real improvement on the ongoing defacement of the area - paid for by the Council and by extension our council tax!! destroying it is both criminal and antisocial. This alley needs urgent cleaning and a camera to prevent further crime (including the regular drug sales and use)

  • Walked through the alley today, nothing has changed but was verbally abused by a man peeing in the corner. There are now more bags of rubbish in front of the staircase
