Public footpath needs weeds/shrubs removing

Reported via mobile in the Weeds on roads or footpaths category by Michael Clarke at 14:52, Thursday 22 September 2022

Sent to Hounslow Highways less than a minute later

Am sending report again, because I don’t think the first one went through. The footpath leading from Trevor Close into Hillary Drive needs cleansing from weeds, shrubs and foliage. The Trevor Close end of the public footpath has also been used by residents to dump grass cuttings, weeds and shrubs. As this is next to the substation, I contacted SSE to ask them to deal with it. I have received a response, but am unable to attach it to this report. If you would like me to forward it to you, please give me an email address so that I may do so. SSE state that this dumped grass etc. (photo 3) is not on their land. If it is not theirs, it must be council-owned, because the fence against which the stuff has been dumped is the boundary of the property at number 36 Hillary Drive. If you have any concerns regarding this public footpath and its cleansing, please contact Christopher Jarvis, who was instrumental in getting the Bankside Close end of the footpath successfully cleared. Many thanks.
