Streets covered in weeds

Streets have not been cleared of weeds for over a year. When they were done last time, no treatments were put down, all they did was scrape weeds off the surface!
We did noticed some workers down this street the week before the local elections in May apparently doing some street cleaning but this must been just for show as nothing was actually achieved and they didn't come back after the elections to finish the job!
