Rubbish and overgrown branches in Van Gogh Alley

Reported via desktop in the Street Cleaning Enquiry category anonymously at 14:36, Mon 25 July 2022

Sent to Hounslow Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3704630.

Last time I reported accumulated garbage in Van Gogh Alley (and the greenery encroaching through railings) someone quickly came and cleaned up and trimmed back. That was in March. Thank you. Now it all needs doing again. Current rubbish includes not only drink cans, burger boxes and face masks but broken bottles. Moreover the branches which smash you in the face after dark are bigger and tougher than ever.

  • Last time I reported this problem it was rectified very quickly. This time - not at all so far. Of course matters rapidly get worse: now the footpath has broken glass in addition to the beer cans, burger boxes, face masks and so on. Moreover the branches which encroach from the railings at the side get bigger, tougher, and even more painful when they whip you in the face if you have to walk through aftger dark
