Sent to Hounslow Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3382758.
Dear Hounslow council, Further to my many emails can you confirm what if anything you have done with regards to the state of pavements on Clevedon Gardens?
Two weeks ago one Sunday morning approximately 6am we have had an elderly resident on the road fall on the road and has as a result of her injuries been taken by ambulance to hospital. Please note that she was also waiting for over an hour for an ambulance to arrive is below zero temperatures.
As you can tell by the many emails I have sent I have warned of exactly this and the concerns was never taken seriously by hounslow council or Seema Malhotra. In this instance I do think there is a level of accountability you need to take for the area as you were emailed time and time again and despite this nothing what so ever was done.
The whole roads pavements need to be re installed and not just temporary patch ups!!

Agreed elderly people do struggle to walk on the paths, but this street has been unmaintained for so long. I have requested this and general infrastructure for years and not once have hounslow council responded. weeds has been a constant issue, each year getting worse, there even growing out the drains, by the time hounslow hounslow council do anything its already made more damage to the road as you have let it grow wild. if it was maintained properly like I have seen on other streets this would not have been an issue.
Furthermore this road had many trees on it and now literally have all been stripped with one original tree remaining, and one relatively new tree, the street needs more trees like there used to be, when will you be placing more trees.
Every road in cranford is tarmaced with exception of clevedon garden would you care to explain why this is? or should we just pay less council tax to compensate?
