Good morning ,
I would like to bring to your attention about a accident that happened on 12th February on Crispen Road in Hanworth. My wife and myself was walking along this road in the direction towards the footbridge that crosses the Chertsey Road, A316. The lighting wasn't great at the time as it was late evening. We was, I believe, outside number 100 when suddenly we both fell onto the floor with a hefty thud. After getting off the floor and assessing the situation, my wife was holding her left arm and in great pain, I had a cut on my mouth where it had hit the floor and I had injured my right hand and fingers and had severe pain in that hand. We noticed that there was a step up, kerbstone, that raises the height from the level that over half the pathway was that we had just walked along. Also, there was a car parked there on the solid painted white line across a speed hump, shading the light from view so it wasn't visible. I don't know if any works going on there at the time as the lighting is a bit brighter since. Is this something you can check on your records. My wife is also partially sighted. We also noticed that the fall has cracked the back of her phone as well.
We headed towards the British Legion to clean ourselves up and had to call a cab to get us home.
The next morning, Sunday 13th February we headed to West Middlesex Hospital A+E to be checked. We both had x-rays done on our injuries and it was said that my wife has broken her elbow, which could take anything from 6 to 8 weeks to heal and I had severe bruising to my right hand which will take several weeks to heal. I am predominantly right handed so caused me a major problem of which i still can't weightbear with it properly yet.I also had cuts to my knee as well. My wife also had bruising to both knees as well.
Could you contact me via email with your response ASAP please.

Maybe to slope the corner where the kerb is like on a corner to avoid a trip hazard or erect a bollard to prevent parking. Also, the lighting should be on the houses side of the road to prevent shadowing. My wife also sustained further injuries, see photos, and she smashed her phone as well.
