On 05/09/21 at around 19:30 I was walking my dog and fell and injured my right ankle on the highly raised path as seen in photos attached. I could not stand up on my right ankle, I then had to seek help from family members who had to come and collect me and my dog and lift me into a wheelchair and escort me to the nearest urgent care centre which was west Middlesex hospital. Once I arrive at the hospital they took an x-ray of my right ankle which results show that it is a sprain, due to the swelling they did mention if it gets any worse to go back for another scan incase of a more serious injury. I have been advised by the Dr at the hospital to no weight bearing for 1-2 weeks and to use the crutches. I am a NHS worker myself and I am now unable to attend work until I am able to walk without crutches and until the swelling is completely gone which could take 2-4 weeks. I am informing you of this accident because it shouldn’t be highly raised. I wouldn’t want anyone to go through what I went through when I fell on this dangerous ground. I am writing and reporting this because I would like to make a compensation claim.
