This obstruction has been in place for months. Signs saying works for 2 weeks have disappeared and it is a major hazard. Constantly falling in the road, cars are driving around a blind bend with 1 lane as the other is obstructed for pedestrians. It needs to be fixed or a board has to be put over the pavement and we can have our full road back. It's so dangerous I have nearly been in numerous accidents with cars coming around the bend at full speed

Vehicle Crossover Road Works Obstruction - Bedfont Green Close
The above construction incorporates Hounslow Highway marked Plastic Road Barriers that forms a guide for pedestrian footpath around said works onto the road. This forces traffic entering Bedford Green Close from Staines Road on to the other side of the road into the path of oncoming traffic. This dangerous situation is further compounded by the fact that the said works and barriers are on a blind curve.
Further to the above the David Henry Waring Court vehicle parking entrance/exit is on Bedfont Green Close. When a vehicle exiting the David Henry Waring parking entrance turns left into Bedfont Green Close it is immediately located directly in the path of oncoming traffic that is traveling on the opposites side of the road due to the said road works. . Again, as the said road works is on a blind curve, this poses a most dangerous situation of possible vehicle collision and injury and to vehicle occupants.
It would not be unreasonable to conclude that the above is also a danger of possible injury to pedestrians.
It is my understanding is that the above road works is an illegal action undertaking without planning permission. However, this situation has been ongoing and unresolved for many months.
As mentioned in the previous complaint , Signs saying works for 2 weeks have many months disappeared With considerations of the above may I urge Hounslow Council Road Maintenance/Contracted Agents/Responsible Persons to investigate and advise accordingly.

I can only agree with all the above complaints but would like to add that 3 months or more ago I sent an email out lining my concerns to Javed Akhunzada for which I have never even received an acknowledgement. Not helpful! Whilst the safety of pedestrians and road users should be paramount, what is being done about the total miss-use of a listed building and grounds. There are certain protocols that need to be followed but it seems if you have enough money you can dismantle anything. Including pavements and history. Why do we even bother asking for planning permission if we can put our own 'vehicle crossovers' in. I have lived in Bedfont for 35 years so remember when it was a beautiful green village, but have seen it being destroyed slowly.

Could you please look into this asap to avoid any incident happening. I agree with all the above. It gets so busy during the school hours everyone rushing and mums with buggies and toddlers struggle so much passing that path. Hope you will resolve this issue soon. Thank you

I am a mom with young children and most of the time barriers and signs over the night gets pulled over. I find it extremely dangerous to walk in the road with small kids when cars constantly pass over.

Majority of the time they are always knocked over meaning you have to walk in the road making it more dangerous then it already is

Today is the 29th September 21 and the bollards are lying in the road making the area more hazardous. Looks like it's becoming a lorry park with no consideration for pedestrians or cars, it's awful that it has been allowed to continue this long, thank you.
