The branches from the tree on the corner of McCarthy Road and Main street are hitting against the guttering and tiles of my roof (number 40 Main Street) Would it be possible for some of the branches to be cut back to avoid any damage please

Each year I have the same problem as the branches grow too close to my upper windows and the guttering/roof tiles of my property. Its bad enough that I get all the fallen leaves in my garden in autumn but when it comes to damage of my property then it needs sorting. Maybe a tree surgeon needs to prune the branches nearest to my roof right back especially at this time when the wind has been really bad. The tree should never have been planted so close to a residential property obviously the planners didnt research how wide the branches would grow each year. Please do something before it causes damage.

Hi how can you close this issue without even responding or checking it. My first 2 pics are today the 3rd was taken when I made the request earlier this year. When the wind is around the branches actually hit my guttering and roof tiles. I have asked 3 years running the first year they came and cut it back but last year and this year nothing was done. The house was here long before the tree and all it needs is cutting back why would you just leave it until it ends up causing problems and costing more?
