Walnut Tree growing wild
Reported via iOS in the Trees or shrubs blocking visibility category anonymously at 18:56, Fri 10 July 2020
Sent to Hounslow Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2194969.
Picture shows numerous walnut trees that have grown over the years. These were never planted here officially, I believe the records will confirm this. The area should be flowers and scrubs. The trees have now overgrown, touching telephone lines, blocking visibility in our Close, area beneath regularly invites rubbish to be dumped. At night time the area does not have sufficient lighting.

Thank you to the guys that came and trimmed the low branches and laughed at the fact that the squirrels had planted this walnut tree. Please, now is the time to cut this unwanted tree down, less of the tree waste as we go into winter. The tree continues to fowl with the telephone lines and not only is it an eye sore for the neighbourhood it’s also a dumping ground for waste including drug user needles and people using the area as a place to urinate.

Dear Sirs. Please could you provide a update on this issue. During 2019, a team from Hounslow Highways attended to deal with the management of these trees located on Prestwick Close. They left without completing the Job and as far as I am aware, there has been no explanation or further update as to why this job was stopped. Thank You.
