The Whole of Hounslow

When will the cancel get on top of the level of litter on our streets? I don't believe its from members of the public dropping litter, but due to our archaic recycling system of tub boxes. These are not fit for purpose as litter overflows; blows out of the boxes or the foxes attack them. When will we follow other councils and get wheelie-bins for mixed recycling? Pros to Wheelie-bins: -Ease of recycling thus encouraging more to recycle. -Cleaner streets encouraging a positive environment for business to invest in the local area. -Residents being able to take greater pride of their environment, in-turn reducing fly-tipping and littler dropping. - Discourages pests and rodents. - Less heavy HGV refuse vehicle idling from staff kerb-side sifting of waste.

Please consider the environment and the cleanliness of our streets over cost.
