Pavement covering abandoned since Thames Water visited

We had an ongoing leak on a Prebend Gardens which was an issue from Nov 25 - June 26. Thames Water eventually fixed the link but after digging the pavement, these covering have now been left there for nearly two months. They are unsightly and create an uneven surface especially outside the gate of Number 13.
