Re: Vermin amongst overgrown grass on Staines Road by ClockHouse Roundabout Reported anonymously at 17:32, Fri 26 May 2023 The grass has grown longer- now verging almost 3ft long, foxes have been sighted hiding in this grass in the early evening/ late night and early morning, there has also been sightings of large sewer rats!!!! . The recycling team are undertaking weekly collections and dropping plastics/cardboard which have been collecting over the past few months, the area looks unsightly and unkempt. All in the name of No Mow May- what are residents actually paying their council tax for? We are not getting adequate services we have paid for; seamless recycling collections whereby teams do not leave trailing overflowing items scattered amongst over grown grass land? Please do not fool the constituents of this local area with a guise of 'no mow May' .. please hire the adequate teams to tidy up this area and neighbouring surrounding areas to reduce the increase of vermin accumulating in this area.
